Cali Recap

Earlier this month I traveled to San Francisco and Napa to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Below are two of the outfits I wore while exploring, drinking, and eating my way through California.

Since I neglected to check the weather before packing, I was surprised to find San Francisco quite chilly. Luckily, I picked up this army green bomber in between sight seeing and stuffing my face. Let’s just say it came in handy while riding across the Golden Gate Bridge on a double-decker tour bus.

Both of these dresses are on heavy rotation in my wardrobe, and are reasonably priced and super comfortable. They were perfect for the Napa heat and transitioned well from day drinking to dinner.

Just in case you’re thinking of planning a Napa trip, below are the details of our wonderful wine country experience!

The Napa Valley Lodge --In Yountville

Bouchon Bistro: Wonderful French food, amazing ambiance, walking distance from our hotel in downtown Yontville

R + D Kitchen: Just across the street from our hotel! It had great sushi and amazing sandwiches.

Cindy’s Back Street Kitchen: Such a cute little place for lunch in St. Helena. Great spot to stop between vineyards.

Rutherford Grill: Another great spot in Yontville. My sister and mom had been before, but said it was amazing – and it was! Only down fall was that they ran out of dessert. After all the wine I drank, maybe that was for the best…?
