My Hamptons Trip Recap

It has been confirmed, I have drunk The Hamptons cool-aid. Since I had the best time over the weekend on my trip out East, I thought I'd share a little Hamptons Recap on the blog today! Sharing what we did, what I wore, and why I can't wait to go back!

We stayed at my friend's grandpa's house in Bridgehampton. It was absolutely beautiful and we were extremely lucky we were able to stay there for free. We spent the weekend laying at the beach, swimming, eating sandwiches, biking around site seeing breathtaking compounds (those are not homes), and enjoying some girl time.

On Friday night we went into Sagharbor and enjoyed the best Italian at a little place called DOPO La Spiaggia.

This was our first trip together that wasn't a bachelorette party, birthday, or wedding weekend, which made it so much more relaxing and enjoyable. We all got to do whatever we wanted and there were no daily obligations.

Saturday and Sunday night we made dinner at the house and enjoyed amazing foods from the local farmstands around town.

Sunday after the beach, we headed to a local winery called Wolffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack. Honestly, it looked like we could have been in Napa. Besides the rolling hills of Cali, this vineyard was just as beautiful. We had the most perfect weather and enjoyed a glass of wine and some cheese in a gazebo out in the middle of the vineyard.

When planning what to wear in The Hamptons, I kept it simple and comfortable. I knew we weren't doing anything fancy and we'd be in bathing suits most of the weekend. Scroll down to see what I wore and what I packed for my weekend getaway!

Luckily, my friend (whose grandpa's house we stayed at) is kindly getting married next year in The Hamptons. So I'll be back in a year to celebrate the lovely couple and enjoy these amazing towns!
